Important Update: Table Hire and Entry Fees

SnookerWA wishes to inform all players of an upcoming adjustment to tournament fees, effective immediately. At the request of the owners of Pot Black Family Pool & Snooker Centres, the Table Hire fee for tournaments will increase from $10 to $15 per player, per event. This is the first increase in fees since 2022, and reflects the significant increase in costs to all businesses in that time.

In line with our commitment to providing greater value and more competitive prize pools at our Ranking Events, we will also be increasing the entry fee by $5 across all divisions. This adjustment will directly contribute to a larger prize pool for participants, to be delivered across the board, including Plate Events.

New Entry Fee Structure for Ranking Events

Scratch handicap - $65

10–20 handicap - $50

30+ handicap - $40

As an added incentive to grow the game amongst our junior ranks, players under 21 years of age will only pay the Table Hire component of $15 for entry into Ranking Events.

For events where a flat entry fee applies, such as Handicap events or the State Masters Snooker Championship to be held this weekend, only the table hire component will be increased. If you have already entered the State Masters and wish to withdraw your entry due to the fee increase (from $30 to $35), please contact us ASAP.
