Entry Fee Increase

We have enjoyed the support of the Pot Black Family Pool & Snooker Centres for many years, allowing us the use of their venues at heavily discounted rates. In recent years we have introduced a table hire fee in addition to entries, or the option of paying for a voucher to spend at the bar on the day.

There has been a substantial increase in the operating expenses for venues, notwithstanding the effects of COVID-19, and this means that the voucher model is no longer sustainable. We need to increase the contribution we make to the venues for the use of tables.

Therefore, the option of vouchers will be removed, and entry fees for all tournaments will be increased by $10 to cover the expense of table hire. This will be effective as of the next tournament to be held, the State Masters Snooker Championship.

We understand this may affect some players' decision as to whether to enter events, and if you wish to withdraw your entry for any upcoming event this can be done at any time prior to the closing date – send an email to executive@snookerwa.org.au.

Thank you for your understanding, the viability of our tournaments is entirely dependent on the sustainability of the venues that support us. Again we thank the Pot Black Family Pool & Snooker Centres for their support of our Association.
